Cambi Auction House inaugurates a new and significant chapter in its history by bringing, for the first time, a selection exclusively dedicated to Old Master Art to its Milan headquarters. The "Fine Art Selection", scheduled for Wednesday, May 21 at 4:00 PM, marks a turning point in the city’s auction scene: a bridge between Milan’s established offering of modern, contemporary, and luxury art, and the great tradition of the historic Genoa location, long devoted to celebrating the artistic heritage of the past.
Among the most unusual proposals is a nucleus of decorative and design works from the historic Villa Alessandrina, a 19th-century residence immersed in the hills just 6 km south of Lucca and guardian of a rich historical and artistic heritage. These include a selection of works by Andrea Salvetti (1967-2017).
